I was mainly interested in purchasing a power supply, that had the output specifications, for my purpose, more so than it's "direct compatibility" with a particular monitor. Works wells, and is still in service :o). The second most-important detail, was "who it came from", and "how quickly I could get it". Got it from Tiger Direct (no brainer there), and DID receive it, "next day", as purchased :o).
product working fine no problem at all.it is written as Ac ADAPTOR but actually its a a DC.
So far this seems to be a nice replacement for anyone who has had a monitor power supply go out with a need to fix it. Like the title implies: it works as it is supposed to work.
I ordered this to power a fiber optic Christmas tree. This is a DC current adaptor NOT AC as advertised. This adapter is fine for TV's or monitors, however if you need to power a motor, you need a REAL AC adapter.
This is "universal" for the lcd screens, but for my LG, I have to change the plug. I think Kinamax can be more UNIVERSAL for every monitor if they have sell more kind of plug for the adapter, it'll cost a dime but very usefull.
